Raina creates hand formed ceramics with artist-made glazes in limited numbers and colorways. Her work has been featured in the New York Times, Architectural Digest, and Domino. Krystal is an architect and designer of flowers, landscapes, and installations. She has created floral installations for Design Within Reach, Otherwild, ESMoA, and the Schindler House.

Krystal is launching Hua Tea, a line of flower teas based on traditional Chinese remedies, all hand-blended and hand-batched in Los Angeles. (“Hua” is the phonetic pronunciation of “flower” in Mandarin Chinese.) Chrysanthemums have a long history in Chinese medicine; with their anti-inflammatory properties and rich in Vitamin A, they are used to cool the body and brighten the eye.

The flower tea blends available are Three Chrysanthemums, containing closed buds, open buds, and full blooms of Hangzhou chrysanthemum; Golden Bouquet, containing Kunlun chrysanthemum, honeysuckle, and osmanthus; and Old World Five Flower, containing chrysanthemum, honeysuckle, pagoda tree flower, kapok, and frangipani.

All of the flower teas are naturally non-caffeinated herbal tisanes and can be enjoyed at any time of day or night. Hua Tea is currently available at Proof Bakery in Los Angeles.
